Are you a skilled Welder 6G Stick Combo looking for a new and exciting opportunity? Must have pipe-fitting and stick pipe-welding experience. Pay rate is $30/hour Monday to Friday. Look no further! Unite Contracting Solutions is seeking a talented individual to join our team in Slidell, LA. As a Welder Combo 6G, you will be responsible for performing various welding techniques and processes to fabricate and repair metal structures and equipment. If you have welding experience, a keen eye for detail, and a strong work ethic, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform welding operations using various techniques, including Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW).
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of metal components
- Inspect and test welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws
- Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
- Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a Stick Welder 6G Stick Combo
- Valid welding certification (6G)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
