Unite Contracting is accepting applications for an Excavator Operator to break up streets, remove concrete, and dig next to underground utilities in the New Orleans metropolitan area. Excavator Operator will be digging up city streets and laying new water lines, sewage lines, and drainage lines. Must have Verifiable Experience as an excavator operator breaking up concrete roads with a jackhammer and removing concrete. Frontend loader experience is a plus.
Must have at least 2 years of verifiable experience as an excavator operator. Working on a construction site as a heavy equipment operator laying underground piping, you will be required to perform daily maintenance on the construction equipment. An excavator heavy equipment operator is required to operate an excavator, a Frontend loader, and a skid steer. The equipment operator will work Monday through Friday and be off on weekends. A heavy equipment operator will work 8 to 10 hours per day, with overtime.
The Excavator operator job starts immediately, with a Monday-to-Friday schedule of 8-10 hours per day.
Paid weekly.
